How do drones gain "experience"? Surely, the successful drones are mated (and dead). Only the drones that have failed to mate, or are immature, would have the opportunity to learn how to traverse the bee-ways.

Hi Sue; I have been grafting queens for over 20 years and I'm looking for a few buckfast queens, as near as pure breds as I can get , here in the US. I have an isolated area where I would like to raise some. Would you know of some place where I can order some? I would appreciate your help. I've been using Minnesota hygentic for years, and I need a change. Ron Allard
