As a soldier I remember doing this. Seeing my kid run and hug me never got old.

This will get me in the feels. My husband came home 3 times from war… physically intact, never the same. 🇺🇸 He was honorably discharged from the Army in 2011. It was a rough time for the family. But we’re 22 years in, going strong. ❤

During cat reunions with their owners 99% of emotions are on humans side. Cats are like "what's up human". 🙂

As an old soldier, a combat veteran. These showings always break me up. Coming back from Vietnam I never experienced these tyes of reunions. Does me good.

They have to stay at attention until they are 'tapped out' by a family member. There is a video of a young soldier who had no family members being tapped out by a colleague's sister! So lovely to watch.

My dad was in the Navy when I was a ki. He had to go out to sea every time he re-enlisted. To me it always seemed like he was going to be gone for my entire childhood.
