  $71k for a low output 4cyl? Hell no. You can get the Genesis for $81k with the base V6, which still has 375hp. $10k for over 100 more hp and an even nicer interior? I'd choose the GV80 Coupe all day.

  Yet another journalist reviewing the Genesis GV 80 who can’t figure out that there’s a tray in the armrest that comes out and a huge cavernous space underneath if I had a nickel for every journalist who thought that the cabin was shallow, I would be a rich man

  Finally, someone has actually noticed the distance between the front wheel and the front door. It’s one of the most important design cues. I hate it when the front wheel is tucked too far back toward the door. it looks like the profile of someone with an underdeveloped jaw.

  The GV80 Coupe is a really nice car.  It is the true luxury vehicle in the GLE, X5, X6, Lexus world.  Performance is not shabby and no one can touch their 10 year warranty.

  The Genesis is absolutely so much better than the Infiniti <br>I dropped my Mercedes so quickly for my gv80 and never looked back and it&apos;s a better car by far. And actually better in quality. It may not have the power that my Mercedes had, but I don&apos;t really care.

  These aren’t really comparable or in the same class. The architecture is completely different. <br>One is RWD biased architecture the other is FWD biased. <br>The Infinity is more comparable to the Lexus RX and Acura MDX. <br><br>The Genesis is benchmarked to the X5 and GLE. <br><br>The interior materials are considerably higher end in the Genesis and every touch point is luxury whereas the Infinity dips heavily into the base Nissan bin. <br><br>And most importantly the Genesis is on its own platform not shared with Hyundai or Kia while the Infinity shares platforms with the Pathfinder and Maurno. That item alone removes the comparative nature.

  Yeah, about pricing, I’m not rich, but I’m definitely not poor, but come on now. I would love to see a cost list of every single part, A-to-Z, including all labor to assemble one of these vehicles, and compare it to the suggested retail price. I know you have to factor in warranty and other things too. But I would love to know what the actual profit margin is. Yes, and I’m one of those suckers that will probably buy a new vehicle in the $60-$75,000 price range over the next two years or so.🤯🤣
