Calling the 55th pick trash and giving 1-54 a pass is diabolical

As a Heat fan I wish we brought Beasley back to come off the bench during the big 3 era. Would’ve been crazy.

Fun fact about Frederic Weis (the Draft Bust of the Knicks) - He was drafted in 1999. Nine years later, in 2008 (and after playing ZERO total NBA games), he was traded to the Houston Rockets for... Patrick Ewing, Jr!

Probably the best draft bust story of the last 25 years has to be the 2009 Timberwolves.  They passed on Stephen Curry not once, they passed on him twice.  Rubio was solid.  It’s not his fault he was so hyped as a prospect.  At the time you can see why they took Johnny Flynn over Curry.  The fan base will never let that one go.  But consider this.  Would Curry have blossomed in Minnesota had they taken him?  Probably not.  He’d definitely be a perennial all star, unlikely he’d be able to led a group to a title up there.

It’s crazy how many of these busts ended up playing on my Timberwolves squad! It’s legit mind blowing

I disagree with the Thomas Robinson pick for the Kings being the worst. The Marvin Bagley was the worst one since Luka was still on the board.

Drafting is such a gamble one bad pick can change a franchise forever. Darko, Bennett, Bowie... tough misses!

The Jonathan Simmons trade really showed how far things had fallen. Markelle Fultz was given up for a guy that was out of the league after the end of the year in 2019, just 2 seasons after being drafted.

I always have and will never understand why Ben Simmons is considered a bust, he was the guy who everyone said he was gonna be, but everyone wanted him to be a different player, a 3pt shooter, which is unfortunately what everyone is expected to be to succeed, without it he still got a handful of individual awards an all nba team, all defensive teams, steals leader, ROY, All rookie team never heard of a bust who achieved that. The Philly fans made him a bust by knocking his play style and criticism of his lack of 3pt shooting

Maaaaan, putting Bronny on the thumbnail is not fair. Man sold 500k jerseys, he deserved the 55th pick just with that.
