  As a lifelong Catholic,  I appreciate you sharing your experience.  It is easy to take for granted the treasures we have in the Catholic church.  Seeing some of those treasures from your eyes also helps me to see the beauty anew.

  Colby, I was raised Baptist too. I became Catholic in my thirties, and remain Catholic today. Keep going to Mass, keep watching. Btw, genuflecting is a sign of respect towards, and belief in, the real presence of Jesus in the host in the tabernacle.

  Converted this last Easter to Catholicism from Southern Baptist. Jesus’s prayer to the Father that we be one as he is with the Father led me home. Welcome home brother!

  I was raised Methodist and although I enjoyed church, I never felt a sense of belonging.  It wasn't until I went to a Catholic University for my master's degree and attended Mass with my roommate that I felt a profound sense of home.  I converted to Catholicism while at school.  It is the best and most important thing I've ever done for myself.

  I was raised Episcopalian, attended Baptist church for 5 years, got saved. Would never, ever attend a Baptist service again. My father was raised Catholic. I feel it is the true church that Jesus himself founded. There's a holy Catholic shrine nearby my home. When you enter into the church the feeling of holiness is palpable. It is a beautiful experience.

  As a Catholic revert, i have tears in my eyes reading all these comments of people who have found their home in the Catholic church. When people are ready for a truly deep, holy, and reverant relationship with the Lord is when the Catholic church grows ❤
