  The rich guy can't deal with the fact that the economy is not working for the vast majority of people because it is working for him and that's how he wants to keep it.

  The math was wrong. <br>It was suggested if a wealthy guy had £10 million in assets he would pay £100k in tax.<br>This is incorrect, he would pay nothing. it is 1% on assets above £10 mill (£10 mill threshold).<br>So he would pay £10k on £11 mill / £20k on £12 mill etc. The interest alone on £11 mill would be £550,000, And this wealthy guy does not want to pay £10k tax after earning £550,000 on money sitting in a bank.<br>What an unpleasant person.

  Read the comments and it’s clear people are getting the message. Tax wealth not work. Let them moan about paying an extra 1 or 2 percent as much as they like!

  I think we need to ask ourselves a basic question. What is your net worth? Mine is £7000. Richard Farleigh&apos;s is £160m. This problem only gets worse, unless we do something now. Tax wealth, not work!
