As a Kenyan married to an Ethiopian woman, I say that your analysis is 💯 accurate on both countries. Allow me to add that Addis Ababa beautification project is doing wonders and giving Nairobi a run for its money however, when it comes to residential areas, Nairobi does much better than Addis in the sense that Addis Ababa does not have leafy suburbs like Nairobi has Karen, Runda, Kitisuru, Lavington, Riverside etc. Nairobi also has almost world class shopping malls both stand alone and those in the city. Airport wise, Addis beats Nairobi 10 Nil. Addis Ababa also beats Nairobi on public transportation network in that they have the electric light rail/ Tram which is the first of its kind in Sub Sahara Africa. My wife loves Kenya 🇰🇪 while I love Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and we enjoy both cities because they complement each other very well.
