Absolutely NOTHING on this Pre-Amp screams £25,000. Even £1,000 would be too much.

For $25K you'd expect it to be held together by more than nylon standoffs and stick-on zip tie anchors. Opening up equipment like this gives you a sense for the level of effort it takes to design quality equipment at a good price point, and an appreciation for the engineers at Yamaha, Pioneer, Sony, etc who pack minor miracles into their little consumer devices. Great teardown.
