  My older brother is schizophrenic and he has this exact delusion. The first time he had a manic break we were shocked he thought he had aids somehow. Doctors said infection paranoia is very common. This dude is not a lolcow. He is genuinely sick.

  he should get into voice over work. he has an incredible classic american voice, like a real 50s dad vibe. I feel bad for him though, he clearly isn&apos;t getting whatever treatment he needs, and you can tell he is putting a lot of effort in to trying to do the right stuff. it&apos;s just really hard when your view on reality is warped and you can&apos;t tell what is real and what isn&apos;t. all this shit is real to him and he is responding to it in an incredibly reasonable and measured way, just someone needs to help him.

  I just feel bad man. You can tell he’s desperately trying to be normal, but struggles badly with OCD and other conditions.

  I worked with a guy like this, any time you saw sores on his face you knew he was about to have a manic episode and miss work, but when he wasnt manic he was the best heavy industrial fabricator iv ever seen

  From the comments he makes about his mom, finances, and &quot;blocking&quot; medical appointments it sounds like she is probably his legal guardian and controls his finances. <br><br>I work with people like him near daily and the comments and talking points he makes are EXACTLY the same. Considering the choices he makes when he has money, I wouldn&apos;t be surprised if this was the case.
