  I’m a former tough guy and independent, self centered man. A coworker offered me a cat 13 years ago. He’s still here and he’s still the same but I’m different lol.

  My ex boyfriend didn’t like or care for cats, and “was forced to live with them” if a roommate or family member had one. Needless to say he did not like my idea of taking in my grandmother’s cat Jerry. Well, it only took a few days for my ex to fall head overs heels for him, and it was so sweet to see. My ex would literally start to cry whenever he talked about how much he loved him. My ex now takes in foster kittens and has completely morphed into full cat dad haha.

  The only reason a person doesn&apos;t want a pet, is because they know how hard it will hurt when it&apos;s that pets time to go. I love my Thelma, but I never wanted a cat. But now she is mine, and I don&apos;t look forward to that day... But I will love her everyday and give her the best life, complete with all the cuddles a kitty could ask for

  My husband’s first words when he saw the cats was “When are they leaving?” &nbsp;Now one has claimed him and they are the first to get hellos when he gets home. &nbsp;Even though I adopted two kittens. &nbsp;That was two years ago, we couldn’t imagine our lives without them now.

  If you&apos;re reading this right now, I just want to say; I&apos;m rooting for you. We’re strangers, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care. I know what it’s like to feel like you&apos;re pushing a boulder uphill.
