I know Shawn from Prince of Peace in Bushwick, back in the day day, not surprised he made inroads into hip hop, the gangster thing was surprising though. Always a well liked dude, extremely talented and dangerously talented as well. I would’ve never guessed…

Call me crazy, but I believe 50 took everything Shawn told him to heart. I’ve heard stories from guys like Akon, Eif Rivera, etc about how they would ask 50 if he was cool with working with the people he was beefin with, and they all said the same thing….he never stopped em or had an issue with it. Fat Joe telling the story about 50 getting the whole Terror Squad in the building after they got denied…in the middle of their beef. 50 really took, “Let go, and let God” to heart.
