This passion cannot be supplied by the intellect or by sentiment or emotionalism, or aroused by committing oneself to a cause. The psychological structure of society is based on pleasure. Our whole psychological existence is based in the continuation of pleasure. Until one understands the nature and the structure of pleasure, there will always be fear. The mind that is conditioned by the principle of pleasure cannot think clearly. What is pleasure? © 1966 Krishnamurti Foundation of America and Krishnamurti Foundation Trust ────────── · Krishnamurti: Start Here — https://kfoundation.org/start · Free Newsletter — https://kfoundation.org/newsletter · Free Booklets — https://sub.kfoundation.org/free · Introduction to Krishnamurti — https://kfoundation.org/introduction-... · Krishnamurti Biography — https://kfoundation.org/krishnamurti-... · Key Krishnamurti Videos — https://kfoundation.org/video · Video Directories (PDF) — https://sub.kfoundation.org/pdf · Quotes – https://kfoundation.org/quotes · 15 Quotes On… – https://kfoundation.org/15-quotes-on · Books – https://kfoundation.org/krishnamurti-... · Articles – https://kfoundation.org/articles · Index of Topics – https://kfoundation.org/topics/#index · Krishnamurti Foundation Trust — https://www.kfoundation.org · Statement of Authenticity — https://kfoundation.org/authenticity · Brockwood Park — https://kfoundation.org/brockwood · The Krishnamurti Centre – https://krishnamurticentre.org.uk · Get Involved — https://kfoundation.org/brockwood/#in... · Online Store — https://store.kfoundation.org · Urgency of Change, The Krishnamurti Podcast — https://apple.co/3pWV9Ak · Instagram — Instagram: krishnamurtifoundationtrust · Twitter — Twitter: k__quotes · Facebook — Facebook: KrishnamurtiFoundationTrust · TikTok — TikTok: krishnamurtifoundation → Support Our Work — https://kfoundation.org/donate __ We are a charity registered in the UK (Charity Number 312865)
