Gravity Falls was a great show about a weird town, but have you heard of Long Gone Gulch? It's an amazing pilot about a similarly weird town: https://youtu.be/TVgFdq9w-0w

I like how the reason bill almost destroyed everything is because stanly ate chips a little to close to Stanford’s motion machine

Its ironic, Bill managed to escape death (read Book of Bill), but his punishment is to learn to understand empathy and admit that he makes mistakes, no matter how many infinities it takes.

I absolutely adore the idea that bill is a single personified character attribute and he’s defeated by character development, because that makes bill… a /flat/ character

his biggest mistake was appearing on a kid's show, where he's not allowed to turn children into corpses

He didn’t notice how Ford suddenly lost a finger on each hand, that was his mistake

You know something that also probably affected stan a lot. Is that when he took Fords place, everyone thought he was the one who died. I think i remember at some point stan even mentioned there wasnt even a funeral held for him after he faked his death to take over stanfords life because no one cared enough about him to do so. That part just seemed to come back to me every now and then and makes stan a much sadder character

Bro that connection between Mabel and the audience about how they both don't want their treasured things to end was pure genius.
