“So he , (Moses ),
was there with the Lord for forty days and forty nights;

he did not eat bread or drink water.

And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.”
‭‭E.NASB2020

“And immediately the Spirit *brought Him out into the wilderness.
And
He was in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by Satan;
and
He was with the wild animals,
and
the angels were serving Him.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

“And after

He had fasted for forty days and forty nights,

He then became hungry.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

“But He said to them,

“I have food to eat of which you do not know.”

Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”

Jesus said
to them,
“My food
is
to do the will of Him
who sent Me,
and to finish His work.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬-‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection
and
the life.
The one who
believes
in Me, even if he dies, will live.”
‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

“Jesus replied, “This is the work of God — that you believe
in the One He has sent.””
‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭29‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

“And He could not do any miracle there except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.
And
He was amazed at their

unbelief.

And He was going around the villages, teaching.”
‭‭
Is Jesus introducing us to believe
a reality
that is inconceivable.
A reality that is known by revelation?
Revelation after the fact of believing
and being thrown into the
fiery furnace
to experience the unimaginable reality of the One Who calls things to be that are not .

I have all the ability of a
sheep.
In that identity is inherent
‘ humility’ if I truly accept
that
I don’t know
what
I don’t know ?

“…, and
no one knows the Father except the Son
and
anyone
to whom the Son desires to
reveal Him.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭27‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

Could the challenge be to
believe
and
have disciplined behavioral response to our circumstances
to do His will , His way ?

Was Satan’s temptation ,
for Jesus ,
to do the Fathers will ,
other than the Fathers way ?

Was the Son of man sweating drops of blood ,
knowing the consequence of Israel not knowing the ‘ time of their visitation’ and the consequences of what happens when the tree is dry?
As He asks the Father if there is any other way , nevertheless not My will but Yours be done.
