Actually , what jiyoung is wearing is not our traditional outfit. It's one of India's outfits (They call it saree.)But here we have a somewhat similar traditional outfit to saree which is called the 'Osariya'. Hope you'll get to wear that one day jiyoung !!!😊 Lots of love from Sri Lanka...❤❤❤

7:16 It is a small 'Dansal'❤ We call them dansals. But this is only one. They're giving free food because it is a special day. But on Vesak festival day (May) and Poson festival times (June) you will see thousands of free food giving places everywhere in the country. When we celebrate the birth of Lord Buddha, realising dharma and enlightenment of Buddha, we give dansals for everyone. It's Vesak❤ We give dansals to celebrate Buddhism's arrival to Sri Lanka too. It's Poson festival❤🙏🏽

The Kandy Esala Festival is such a beautiful and meaningful celebration! It’s incredible to see the blend of cultural heritage, traditional dances, and the devotion that brings people together for this sacred event. The stunning procession, with the majestic elephants and vibrant costumes, truly reflects the rich history and artistry of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is such a fascinating country with its unique blend of spirituality, nature, and culture. Thank you for sharing this amazing video and introducing this wonderful tradition to more people.
