  Big butts look horrible when they are obtained through cosmetic surgery. It&apos;s very uncanny valley...<br>Only naturally big ones look nice.

  Idk but the pressure to go to the gym to get a certain look is mad annoying. I just workout and eat healthier for my health atp , I find I’m more happy and consistent that way . No pressure to eat mad protein and get thick in the right place smh . It’s just annoying because it’s takes me to get off social media to focus on me and my happiness within myself

  Growing up in South Africa where having a big butt and a natural BBL (your body is naturally shaped like that) is a norm, it was weird and interesting to see the world go crazy over big butts and bbls😂😂😂. It&apos;s interesting to see how Sarah Baartman, who is from South Africa, was ridiculed over her body and turned into a spectacle. Fast forward over 200 years later, that same body type that is very common in South Africa, has become <b>THE</b> beauty standard that everyone is trying to achieve. The irony!!!😂

  Arabs have always loved larger butts, south Asians larger bosoms, westerners like slim figures. This is what I grew up with. Now, everyone’s gaze is becoming alarmingly homogeneous. Gen z like slim figures with big butts and bosoms. It’s really weird to witness this change tbh

  There’s also the Venus of Willendorf theory that it was a self portrait carved by a woman, from the perspective of looking down at her body. Especially considering that women probably spent most of their lives being pregnant at that time.<br><br>My favorite theory is that the Venus of Willendorf is meant to be a reference for first time pregnancies, helping them monitor their changing bodies. I personally think it could have been a reference for late term pregnancy when they would anticipate childbirth occurring soon.

  The venus of willendorf is actually such an interesting example to mention here because when it was first discovered (by white men) it was interpreted to be a symbol of fertility or even prehistoric pornography, thus it was named &quot;the venus&quot;. However, there is an article written by a woman discussing the possibility of the venus being a self-representation of women in times where they didn&apos;t have many mirrors. As a woman, when u look down at yourself, like physically look towards your feet, your hips and chest seem exaggerated, and this is what the venus highlighted. Instead of being a sex symbol, it might have been intended as artistic expression and individual exploration.

  I am Slavic and pear shaped, and unfortunately big booty is not a beauty standard in Slavic countries, so I&apos;ve hated my big butt and thick thighs ever since puberty hit and did me so dirty. The mismatch between my upper and lower body makes me feel like the Frankenstein&apos;s monster, finding a dress or a suit that fits is almost impossible, I got nasty comments about my butt since high school. Now I&apos;m living in Japan, were butts are not a thing too, so even when the &quot;butt economy&quot; was on the rise in America, it was not stonks for me. I can&apos;t even imagine what it is like to live in a place were big butts are a thing, because for me it&apos;s one of the biggest insecurities.
