  IF YOU LOSE A SCREW OR OTHER SMALL METAL OBJECT, DO NOT TURN ON YOU COMPUTER UNTIL YOU FIND IT. I cannot tell how easy it is to fry a board that way.

  I'm new to building pcs. when I got my first hand-me-down pc, it kept over heating and I couldn't figure out why. So I decided to place my hand over the cpu fan and realized it was blowing the wrong way

  IO SHEILDS: not all motherboards come with them built-in! Install this into the case first! In the correct orientation!

  My Tip:<br>You don&apos;t have to build your whole PC in one go! Don&apos;t keep building if you&apos;re getting really tired or you will have less fun and be more prone to mistakes and frustration.

  pro tip: don’t forget to plug in the cable for the power button<br><br>edit: yes, i made this mistake &amp; spent 6 hours trying to diagnose something that wasn’t broken until i actually read the manual and realized what was missing.

  Pro tip for my south american friends:<br>Electricity isn&apos;t usually grounded correctly here, if you just finished your build and it won&apos;t boot or the computer is stuck in a reboot loop, just re-set the ram. That&apos;s it. Static won&apos;t let it boot

  Tip: &nbsp;Just do it. &nbsp;Don&apos;t be scared. &nbsp;There are plenty of resources online if you get stuck or something isn&apos;t working. &nbsp;After you complete your first build, you&apos;ll never want to go back to store bought.

  When screwing, turn the screw backwards until you hear a click, then start the tightening the normal direction. &nbsp;It prevents messing up the threads.
