That's part of it. The Halo 2 flood have both better looks and movement. This makes Halo 3 flood more tolerable but they need the look too.

I always thought the Flood in Halo 3 was a disappointment. <br>Leaving aside the whole issue of the new pure forms (I think only Halo Wars did a better job of creating unique enemies), the Flood in Halo 3 lost a lot, both the aggressiveness of the Combat Evolved and the agility of Halo 2. <br>These are very specific things that very few people notice, but I think many of us subconsciously realized them.

The Halo 3 Flood look extra creepy with Halo 2's animations. I honestly really love that. And the Halo 3 Flood look pretty good while driving vehicles. The Flood in Halo 3 are kind of a let down compared to CE and 2, but this helps them out a lot. Just give them CE's sprinting animations and they'll be complete.<br><br>I did like the final battle as well with all the soldiers and other characters fighting off the Flood together.
