The sudden hounding about seed oils, seed oils, seed oils and their dangers running in parallel with the 'tallow is wonderful' campaign is clearly a meat and dairy initiative.

The tobacco style marketing and misinformation is kind of a dead giveaway that meat is bad in several ways

Thank you for shedding light on this, I knew it was happening but didn't realise how insidious it is.

I was in asda the other day and there was an announcement in store through the asda radio telling people to support dairy farmers and how 1 in 4 dairy farmers had closed down in past few years or something. Made me think - yeah probably for a good reason. Felt very strange and orwellian

13:56…they’re also being fed subsidies don’t forget… makes switching to plant crops or eco tourism less attractive/ harder to envision…

Govt corruption is undoubtedly one of the single most challenging hurdles to overcome. Every government in history has tried to fix it but the rot inevitably creeps in from the very evils of human nature. Humans are just deeply, psychologically flawed creatures. We do not have anywhere near the intelligence to responsibly wield the power we have. I see very little hope coming from within established systems. It will take an emergent, outward influence to force change. Environmental collapse, economic collapse, zoonotic disease pandemic, world war, ASI, aliens etc. It sucks, I desperately wish we were capable of voluntary, major change without a catastrophically disruptive event but history shows us that we just aren't.

Just the tip of the iceberg relating to a recent massive dissemination of propaganda from the meat and dairy industry. When NBC news on national tv promoted a segment highlighting a couple feeding their infant beef jerky I knew they were implementing an all out multi pronged attack harnessing AI in particular to discredit the plant based/ vegan community.
