  I have a nice flight story. My son 12 and I were on a flight to Germany from LA. The window seat guy was a guy in his 20s. Not only was he patient enough to answer my son’s million questions about Germany, but when my son fell asleep on the guys shoulder and I apologized and went to move my son’s head, the guy said it wasn’t a problem. I hope that young man has had many years of happiness.

  The only time my luggage was ever misdirected, &nbsp;I kept my cool and joked with the person in charge. &nbsp;I was in L.A. and my bags were heading for NYC!<br>I asked, &quot;is there a chance I can get those miles?&quot; She smiled and said, &quot; unfortunately, no, but I&apos;ll do you one better.&quot; I was given 3 certificates that I used for first class upgrades the next three flights I took. &nbsp;Being nice to staff pays off when you fly. &nbsp;I&apos;ve managed to get more &quot;free&quot; first class upgrades just by staying calm and not acting like these fools. 😊

  My favourite thing about airport Karens is that flight attendants/security/pilots give absolutely no shits, and are under strict orders that the flight comes first. There is no amount of tantrum-ing that can make anyone do anything. Karens who are used to service workers needing to take their abuse with a smile are always shocked.

  I travel a lot for work and the unhinged behavior I have seen the past few years stuns me. People went feral during lockdown and never regained the ability to regulate their emotions.

  I don’t understand how people can sit there and scream in public, I’m too scared to even tell my waitress that my order is wrong, much less sit there and scream in public😂💀

  Get to the airport early not just to catch your flight but to people watch. It’s a fricking Shakespearean tragedy, action comedy , romance novel, and just a horror show all wrapped into one. It’s amazing.
