It was four, stacked on top of each other, and most of us still carry the surname to prove which one. This channel goes back to find out what really happened here: the arrivals that made the Irish, the food grandmothers cooked when there was nothing in the house, the things they feared after dark, and the skills, tricks and habits that every Irish home once had and almost nobody has now. Irish history, Irish folklore and the forgotten everyday life of Ireland, told the way a documentary narrator would tell it and sourced the way a historian would. Every claim in every video is checked against the record it comes from, and where the record says less than the internet does, we say so.
