Hello, I’m Amos Miller, a 67-year-old Amish farmer living in rural Pennsylvania. People outside our community often consider my family “backward” because we use very little technology. I don’t want them to keep misunderstanding us or assuming that we live this way because we are poor or don’t know how to use modern technology. Through this channel, I will spend the rest of my life showing that we choose not to depend on these technologies—not because we don’t understand how to use them. And perhaps, by watching my videos and applying these methods to your everyday life, you may save quite a bit of money along the way. Topics include food storage and preservation, frugal cooking, pantry systems, gardening, cleaning, home maintenance, seasonal living, and practical household skills. Old Ways. Real Monthly Savings.
