Sunt medic primar în obstetrică-ginecologie cu peste 35 de ani de experiență medicală, specializat în chirurgie ginecologică oncologică , chirurgie laparoscopică și chirurgie oncologică mamară. În toți acești ani în care sunt alături de femei în lupta lor cu cancerele ginecologice și de sân, am observat două constante care mă întristează și acum. Menționez felul în care, în România, vorbim despre cancere: vorbim puțin, superficial și fragmentat. Sigur că sunt conversații dificile, mai ales de avut în spațiul public, însă efectul generat este acela că nu există informații complete, aplicate și verificate de specialiști. Astăzi, în România, o pacientă nu are acces la informații care îi pot salva viața. Există o stigmatizare în jurul cancerelor ginecologice și de sân. În felul în care vorbim despre cancer, în care relaționăm cu pacientele. Prin informațiile oferite aici, pe acest canal, îmi doresc să demitizez cancerele ginecologice prin informații relevante.
