Wish-Fikar (ویښ فکر) is a contemporary media platform dedicated to thoughtful storytelling, meaningful dialogue, and independent analysis for Pashto-speaking audiences around the world. Founded and led by Abdul Hai Kakar, a well-known journalist with more than 25 years of experience, Wish-Fikar brings together knowledge, experience, and curiosity to explore the issues shaping our society and our future. Hai Kakar has worked with BBC and other international media organizations, covering Pakistan and Afghanistan and reporting on important political, social, and regional developments. Through Wish-Fikar, we explore culture, politics, technology, literature, and human stories, focusing on topics that matter to Pashtuns in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the global Pashtun diaspora. Our mission is to inform, inspire, and encourage critical thinking by creating thoughtful discussions and highlighting important issues that are often overlooked.
