Welcome to Soft Sleep Tales with Edward. I’m Edward, and I create original long-form sleep stories set in the gentle world of Victorian and Edwardian Britain. Here you’ll find quiet fictional stories about ordinary people, comforting places and small moments of everyday life — from village bakeries and rainy bookshops to country inns, railway journeys, farmhouses and seaside towns. Each story is written as its own world, with new characters, settings and experiences to settle into at the end of the day. I narrate them in a soft British voice, with no music and no sudden sounds, so there is nothing to pull you out of the story as you begin to drift off. If you enjoy calm storytelling, cozy fictional worlds and having something gentle to listen to at night, I hope you’ll feel at home here. New original stories twice a week.
