Flint's Ledger

Flint's Ledger is a history and archaeology channel about ordinary objects: how each one was invented, how the mechanism works, and what it cost. Each episode takes one everyday object - a lock, a bone needle, a hafted axe - and follows it through the archaeology to the people who first needed it. Stone age tools, ancient technology and the prehistoric history of invention, explained one object at a time rather than one civilisation at a time. Sources are listed under every video.
