Welcome to **BACKROOM 45** — original soul, funk and rare groove with an analog spirit. Step inside an after-hours world of record shops, basement sessions, neighborhood radio booths, pressing rooms and late-night streets — all connected by one fictional independent label. BACKROOM 45 features newly created original music built around deep bass lines, tight live-feeling drums, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond organ, clavinet, rhythm guitar, brass, soulful vocals and instrumental grooves. Expect a rotating mix of: • Vintage Soul Funk • Minimal Soul Funk & Deep Pocket Grooves • Rare Groove • Deep Soul & Raw Funk • Smooth Soul Funk • Instrumental Jazz-Funk • Funk for Work & Creative Flow • Feel-Good Soul & Driving Grooves Every session is carefully arranged as its own musical release, with different vocal personalities, rhythm sections and instrumental colors — not the same short playlist repeated again and again. Put the record on. Stay after closing.
