Hi, my name is Deborah. I have been a successful professional classical singer for three decades. In a nutshell, diversification has been the key to thriving in the music business for over thirty years; I am a classically trained singer with strong crossover skills. In 2020, whilst living in South Africa, I decided to refine my singing technique in order to teach singing. I now teach singing in Christchurch, New Zealand, and have a waiting list of at least a year to enter my studio. From May 2026, my goal on YouTube is to reflect on the art of being a complete singer; singing, songwriting, teaching and self-accompaniment. In the meantime, here is the back catalogue of classical and crossover songs from 2014 leading up to this point in my YouTube journey. (Pre-2014 performances of my singing are on my old YouTube channel, which I lost the password to - deborahwaikapohe@deborahwaikapohe.)
