The Ecovillage Silimalombu is located at the biggest Island on a lake on an island of the world. It is the Island Samosir in the Lake Toba on Sumatra. Lake Toba was created by the biggest volcanic eruption ever. Ratnauli Gultom started to create the Ecovillage at her birthplace Silimalombu in 2008. The land is at the shore of the Lake and ehind is a up to 500 year old Mango Forest. She is on the way to design the place to self sustained Permaculture Garden. The aim is only to harvest and let the nature do, what the nature want. She called it out the Botanical Garden of the Eatables. Thousands of people from all around of the world were visiting the place. Even the Dutch King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima came 2020 to visit the place. It is now a place for Education of Sustainable Living and to create products of the nature. A lot of villagers around come to the place and learn from the place. This channel is getting part of the practical learning
