Welcome to The Alaskan Gypsy Life! We’re Scott & Audrey, lifelong Alaskans living aboard S/V Alaskan Gypsy, our 80-foot steel, triple-masted schooner, four seasons in Alaska. This channel is about where this unconventional life takes us. We cruise Alaska’s wild coastline, tackle the never-ending projects of an old steel schooner, and explore places many people never get to experience. But some of our favorite parts happen when we stay awhile. Living this way connects us with remote communities, incredible people and opportunities we never could have planned: building in the woods, felling trees and milling lumber, sharing healing work, stepping aboard someone else’s boat to hear their story, or learning from the people and places along the way. Sometimes our five kids join us, but mostly you'll see the two of us as we explore where the wind takes us and what doors open next. Boat life, work, adventure, people and wild Alaska.
