Welcome to Old Guy Hifi! I am passionate about high-fidelity audio and have over 50 years of industry experience. This channel is my space to share honest, in-depth reviews and insights on all types of hi-fi gear. As a “Music First” audiophile, I believe that the gear should serve the music—not the other way around. My focus is always on how equipment enhances the listening experience. Measurements are a complete waste of time. From DACs and amplifiers to speakers and headphone setups, I explore the details that matter to true audio enthusiasts. My approach is hands-on and experience-driven—I don’t just analyze the technology, I listen. Whether you're new to high-end audio or a seasoned audiophile, my goal is to help you navigate the ever-evolving world of sound with real-world impressions and thoughtful comparisons. If you love great sound and want to stay informed about the latest gear, subscribe and join the conversation!
