I grew up above my father's small tailor shop in Osaka. He made suits for forty years, and when he traveled, he packed ten pieces of clothing and came home better dressed than the men he dressed. I spent thirty-one years traveling for a Japanese trading company, and I've lived in America for over forty years. In all that time, I've learned that most men don't pack too little. They pack too much, and nobody ever showed them another way. On this channel, I share the Japanese way to travel light: how to fold a shirt so it arrives without a crease, how to pack a suit in a carry-on, what a Japanese man would never put in his bag, and how to walk off a long flight still looking sharp.
