Travel and the screen are made for each other - and I am lucky enough to make a range of travel films for The Independent, the Evening Standard and other partners. I hope they provide inspiration, information and even entertainment - at least when things go wrong. For the past decade I have been lucky enough to work with a director named Doug Bolton, who somehow manages to make every destination look exciting and enticing, even if the presenter doesn't.
