Hello, My name is Oscar Ruiz I am 17 and I have been playing cello for 5 years now. I first started my musical experience playing guitar at 7 and my family noticed I had a good ear. So then during that, I play lots of soccer and wanted to become a soccer player. After a while, when I got in middle school, I played the bass for all of 6th grade and a little in 7th. During 7th grade, I heard Mischa Maisky play the Bach cello suite no.1 and then I really liked cello. Now, I have a really good passion for cello and I have been practicing 40 hours a day.
