If you want to seamlessly integrate a slide into your standard playing and the music you play, you are in the right place. Welcome to the One Finger Guitarist. My channel is dedicated to standard-tuned slide guitar and creative improvisation / composition. If you are just looking for note-for-note transcriptions or traditional open-tuning blues licks, this probably isn't for you. I provide techniques and creative concepts so you can compose and improvise with your own voice. I studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (with slide guitar pioneer David Tronzo) and was a long-standing faculty member the Guitar Institute in London, before moving to NZ and founding Auckland Guitar School. I work with self-motivated guitarists who are ready to go beyond standard slide repertoire and want to make music that truly sounds like *them*. If that sounds like you, get in touch - I'd love to help you deepen your musical journey. Cheers, Dylan
