We’re Isis and Bertus, a Belgian-Dutch couple restoring a 200-year-old farmhouse and surrounding land in the hills of Piemonte, Italy. What began as a search for a quieter and more grounded way of living eventually led us here: an old farmstead with more space, and far more work, than we originally set out for. Through slow, hands-on restoration, gardening, woodworking, and everyday life on the land, we are gradually bringing the cascina back to life. Our videos are quiet, cinematic observations of that process — the work itself, the changing seasons, the setbacks, discoveries, and the rhythm of learning as we go.
