The home of PETROF pianos on YouTube PETROF is a prominent European manufacturer of acoustic grand and upright pianos. It operates on five continents and exports to more than 65 countries worldwide. Since 1864, when Antonín Petrof built his first piano, we have produced more than 635,000 instruments under the PETROF name, along with many more within the PETROF Brand Family. Our pianos are especially beloved by musicians for their exceptionally soft, gentle, rounded, and romantic tone. While much has changed over the decades, precise hand craftsmanship, the careful selection of materials, and the unmistakable romantic sound remain at the heart of our work. Countless renowned performers and notable figures have fallen in love with PETROF instruments, and the fifth and sixth generations of the family proudly continue this honest craft and cherished tradition.
