I'm Virgil Keene. I've spent my life working with my hands, and twice a week I put out a video on the things Americans used to know how to do — how a family kept food for a year without a refrigerator, how they heated a house when the power quit, how they held onto money when the banks couldn't be trusted, and how they kept a door shut when help wasn't coming. This isn't survival fantasy and it isn't a gear catalog. It's the ordinary work that got ordinary families through, explained plainly enough that you could go use one of them this weekend. ── About this channel ── Scripts are researched and written original for this channel.
