Hi, I'm Nick Salermo. My grandfather never called a repairman in his life. He wrote down every rainfall, every breakdown and every price in cheap notebooks. I still have forty years of them. Later I went into the trade myself and learned the industrial catalog from the inside — which is how I know what the part costs, and what the invoice says. Water, wiring, heating — it's all the same catalog. Here I walk you through the systems that run your property. Water: rain catchment, wells and pumps, septic, greywater, drainage, filtration. Air and heat: furnaces, heat pumps, AC, thermostats, ductwork, water heaters. What works, what it costs, what it doesn't do, and where the monthly contract is hiding. Most of it is the way it was done before somebody figured out how to charge you every month for water that falls on your roof for free. I've held the two-thousand-dollar system in my hands. I'll show you why I don't use it. New videos every week.
