My name is Levi Lapp. On The Amish Harvest I share the old growing knowledge the modern world set aside — the cheap, time-tested Amish ways to build living soil, save heirloom seed, beat pests without poison, and pull a real harvest from a small piece of ground. For two hundred years our families fed themselves with no chemical fertilizer and nothing they couldn't grow or make. That knowledge was never lost — only set aside, because there's no money in teaching a man to need nothing. Every week I walk you through one old method, plain and honest, so you can use it this season: deep soil and compost, no-till gardening, saving seed, companion planting, natural pest control, season extension, putting up the harvest, and small-flock chickens and food forests that feed themselves.
