Hello, I'm Ida. I was born in 1953, and I grew up in a house where my mother knew down to the cent what came in on a Friday. She lived through the Great Depression and carried every bit of that wisdom from her own mother. Because of that, we never came up short. It was always those quiet, everyday habits (in the kitchen, the garden, and around the house) that made all the difference. I’ve used those ways my whole life, and now as a senior (though I still feel plenty young in spirit hahaha).. I still do. I want to keep handing these things down and I haven't seen another channel taking the time to do it quite like this.
