Walter Ellison explores forgotten American skills and Appalachian knowledge through modern research. From wild foods and plant identification to food preservation, mountain medicine, fire craft, weather reading, shelter, and hand tools, each video asks one question: did the old way actually work? We don't romanticize the past. When a traditional method holds up, we explain why. When it doesn't, we say so. Every script is independently researched using historical records, oral histories, agricultural extension sources, and peer-reviewed studies. Forgotten knowledge. Modern evidence. Practical answers. New videos every day.
