Hi, Nicola and Dave here. We are a retired husband and wife team who packed up our life in the UK in late 2018 and drove down to mid Portugal to our new life. We have been knocking down walls, building stuff and generally working hard since then! On this channel we will introduce you to this retiring abroad lark along with its ups and downs. The channel follows our everyday lives, our attempts at growing vegetables, the ongoing renovations, as well as our travels around this beautiful country of Portugal. We hope to introduce you to many aspects, including the people who are just wonderful. Sometimes we'll touch on the red tape (yikes) and the weather!
