I am André, the man from South Africa. I am a DXer and a licensed amateur radio operator, my call sign is ZS6AJG. My channel is about all things radio, especially shortwave and medium wave radio listening. I post radio news, reviews of receivers and recordings of interesting SW and MW signals, often compared on different radios. I also post some ham-related videos. This is a friendly channel where DXers and radio lovers can gather to enjoy their hobby and chat with one another. My channel is not about clickbait, nor do I claim to be an "official" SWL channel (there is no such thing). This channel contains verified news and information, like in the old days before AI and clickbait took over the internet. I was a journalist for more than two decades and I have been teaching journalism at universities since 2017. #radio #shortwave #review #MW #AM #information #news #dxing #qodosen #tecsun #xhdata #raddy #eton #hammarlund #sony #antenna
