My name is Truong An, and I’m from the mountains of northern Vietnam. After spending many years working far from home, I returned hoping to reunite with the last family member I had. But the day I came back was also the day I realized I no longer had a place to call home. Instead of giving up, I chose to start over on this very piece of land. Day by day, with my own two hands, I’m building a home, a garden, and a small farm in the heart of the mountains. Along the way, I care for my four-legged companions, grow my own food, raise animals, and slowly create a peaceful, simple life surrounded by nature. This is more than a journey of building a house—it’s a journey of finding a place where I truly belong.
