For those who may not know, Candid is not my name. It is the mission of this channel. I started this channel thinking that I was going to base it around mindset, but I quickly found that I needed to say the things and tackle the topics that most people avoided. I don't do this to be mean or inflammatory. I don't do it for likes or clicks. I am sure my channel grows more slowly because of it. I do this because I've learned that facing hard truths can lead to admission, accountability, healing, and growth. We cannot fully and completely change as a society without understanding the root causes that brought us to this point. This means... the conversations we have here won't be easy. This means... being comfortable with being uncomfortable. This means taking personal accountability even if you claim to be on the right side of history.
