Over the past 43 years, gallerist Peter Femfert has directed DIE GALERIE, based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Over this long period the gallery owner has vouched for a sophisticated gallery concept of groundbreaking developments in the art of the 20th century as well as of promising and multifaceted contemporary positions. DIE GALERIE presents every year around five exhibitions that features paintings, works on paper, graphics and sculptures. The program has a heavy focus on classical modernism, figurative art, surrealism and incorporates artwork by the CoBrA group.
