My name is Li Chang. My life was once a seemingly warm and peaceful home, but it turned into long, cold days. My husband – who had promised to protect me – became a vagabond and abusive. His cruel words were like knives cutting into my heart, especially when he denied my worth simply because I couldn't have children. One day, he kicked me out of the house. With nowhere to go, I was forced to face the vast world empty-handed. The pain, humiliation, and loneliness almost broke me, but I understood that if I didn't stand up on my own, no one could save me. Now, I choose to live alone. Life isn't easy, but I'm gradually learning to be stronger. I record the past days as a way to remind myself of how much pain I once endured – and how I overcame it.
