My new album Peace To Make is out now! 💞 Ruth B writes songs that feel like safe places. From the 2× Platinum breakout “Lost Boy” to the 3× Platinum global anthem “Dandelions,” the Ethiopian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and pianist has built a world rooted in emotion, storytelling, and quiet power. Her voice — calm yet commanding — has become a home for anyone who feels deeply, a soundtrack for truth, solitude, and healing. Born and raised in Edmonton, Canada to Ethiopian parents, Ruth began writing songs as a teenager — turning her piano into a journal and her phone into her first stage. What started as a viral moment grew into a global connection built not on spectacle, but sincerity. With more than 8.6 billion streams and a global audience of 7.7 million+, Ruth has earned multi-platinum certifications across 15+ countries and a Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Her sound blends pop, soul, and cinematic minimalism — deeply lyrical yet instantly relatable. Ruth continues to evolve while staying true to what has always defined her: emotional depth, musical excellence, and a quiet, undeniable power. Her songs remind us that softness can be strength, and honesty will always find its way through the noise.
