Hello šš» Weāre Emily & Robi, and this is our second year building an off-grid homestead on 5 acres of abandoned land in rural Italy. What started as an overgrown property with old stone ruins is slowly becoming our self-sufficient home. Weāre restoring 100-year-old stone houses, clearing land, building essential off-grid systems, improving the soil, planting trees, growing food and learning every skill we need along the way. We came here with minimal construction experience and a lot of determination. Everything you see is self-funded, built by us, and documented honestly ā the progress, the mistakes, the hard weeks and the wins. If you love off-grid living, homesteading, abandoned property restoration, permaculture and slow rural life in Italy, subscribe and come along with us. New episodes every Sunday @Ā 4PM.
